Builders Care’s mission is made possible through a small yet dedicated team who works tirelessly to connect Lee County homeowners with the help they need.
Crystal Stouten - Executive Director
Crystal leads Builders Care in its mission by building relationships, empowering volunteers and securing donations and services that help the nonprofit change the lives of homeowners and families across Lee County.
A seasoned sales, marketing and communications professional, Crystal previously spearheaded business development and customer relations for Service Contracting Solutions, one of Florida’s largest painting contractors. She also held positions leading membership for the Cape Coral Construction Industry Association and purchasing and vendor relations for K. Hovnanian First Homes.
She is a member of numerous local committees, including the Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce, Lee Building Industry Association, Associated Building & Contractors Association, Building Managers International and other community-based organizations.
Crystal has been named one of Southwest Florida’s top 30 nonprofit executives by The Community Foundation, recognized for integrity, honesty and substantial impact in Southwest Florida.
Tasha Birk - Client Services & Projects Manager
Tasha spearheads day-to-day operations on behalf of Builders Care, building relationships, managing project logistics and connecting homeowners to solutions for their emergency construction needs.
Before her role with Builders Care, Tasha gained more than 15 years of experience working in the medical supplies and hospitality industries. This background strengthens her ability to serve clients and understand the home accessibility needs of families who are seeking support from Builders Care. Tasha previously held positions as a center manager for Lincare Medical Equipment, department manager for ‘Tween Waters Island Resort & Spa and a client case and purchasing manager for Advanced Home Oxygen and Medical.
