Lee BIA Builders Care was founded in 2005.  Through our partnerships with building industry members, contractors, subcontractors and businesses Builders Care has provided over $4.8 million in construction services at no cost to over 460 individuals and families in our community. Recipients are elderly and/or disabled individuals of all ages who are in financial need and are living with housing conditions that pose a safety or health threat.

Builders Care projects range from handicap accessibility, roof repairs and replacements, building wheelchair ramps, HVAC repairs and replacements, electrical and plumbing repairs and extensive repairs due to unsafe conditions. Building partners of all types as well as community groups volunteer their time, materials and labor to help make these projects a success.  Builders Care relies on these partnerships to assist the most neediest individuals in our community.  Without the collaboration of the community and strong building partnerships, Builders Care would simply not exist.
