Recently, Builders Care helped 2 elderly homeowners in Fort Myers by providing accessibility improvements to their home.
Ms. Scott, 71, is confined to a wheelchair and lives alone. She did not have a wheelchair ramp at her front entry, preventing her from entering and exiting the home without assistance.
Ms. Gilmore, 88, is limited in mobility and was having difficulty getting in and out of her bathtub safely. She was also in need of a wheelchair ramp at her front entry for safer access when entering and exiting the home.
Fortunately, Builders Care was able to provide both homeowners with the accessibility improvements they needed so they can safely access these areas in their home.

Lee BIA Builders Care is the nonprofit charitable arm of the Lee Building Industry Association (Lee BIA). The mission of Lee BIA Builders Care is to provide emergency construction services at no cost to needy and deserving elderly and/or disabled homeowners, and their families, who cannot obtain repairs through traditional means.
