Recently, Lee BIA Builders Care was able to provide a life-changing repair for a family in need.
Mr. and Mrs. Matkin have lived in their Cape Coral home for over 20 years, raising 4 special needs children. Last week, water suddenly stopped coming into the home. During these difficult times, and with the family’s limited income, they did not have the luxury of affording critical repairs that were now needed. As a result, the family was left without access to water for several days.
Without options or anywhere to turn, these conditions weighed heavily on the family and, simply put, were in need of a miracle!
After learning of this family in need, community partners were eager to help. Plumbing Solutions of SWFL quickly evaluated to detect the source and extent of the repair needed. The well pump had to be replaced. Shortly after, H20 Systems stepped in to help. In less than 24 hours and without question or hesitation, they showed up, pulled and replaced the family’s well pump, restoring water to the home, all at no cost to the family.
The Matkins were overwhelmed by this act of kindness and stated ” I can’t thank you guys enough for coming out today when I was told April 27th to replace our pump and pipes in our well. Thank you for working with builders care and understanding our situation. My family is beyond grateful for this kindness. My special needs kids and my husband with cancer and I will never forget this!!!!”
