Bonness Construction and Argos USA give Life-Changing Ramp for Disabled Family

2018 is off to a great start!!  Last week, Builders Care was able to help a very special family in Lehigh Acres with a beautiful new wheelchair ramp thanks to Bonness Construction and Argos USA.

16-year-old Samuel Siaz was born premature with cerebral palsy and lacks the ability to walk or sit upright on his own. Mr. and Mrs. Siaz are his primary caretakers and assist Samuel in his daily routine. Over the years, Samuel’s physical limitations alongside financial restraints created many obstacles for the family.

The Siaz Family was in dire need of a wheelchair ramp to make their home more accessible. With a fixed income, they did not have the means of making any repairs to the existing ramp. For years, his parents were wheeling him down a steep slope covered with old roofing shingles.

After learning the family’s situation, Bonness Construction and Argos USA immediately stepped in without hesitation. They quickly collaborated on labor and materials to help this family in need. In just a few hours, Bonness and Argos made their home accessible by removing the uneven terrain and adding a sloped concrete ramp with a landing area.  All work completed was at no cost to the homeowners.

The family can now load/unload Samuel safely and access their home with ease. The sight of the new ramp brought tears to Mr. and Mrs. Siaz’s eyes as it is more than just a ramp, it is a breath of fresh air and relief to the family.

A very special thank you to Wheelchairs 4 Kids for referring this family and to Bonness Construction and Argos USA for their passionate efforts in making it possible!! The new ramp is a blessing for the Siaz Family and their lives have been changed forever.
