Today, Builders Care was able to help a North Fort Myers family in need with a portable wheelchair ramp. This ramp is a blessing for the family and time was certainly of the essence.
About the Glover Family
Forest and Christina Glover live in their home with their 27 year old daughter, Rebecca. In 2015, Rebecca was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer and underwent a mastectomy. Just a few months ago, her doctors discovered the cancer had spread and she was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer.
Rebecca is now bed bound and under the full-time care of Home Hospice and her mother, who left her job to be by her daughter’s side. Before the addition of this ramp, Rebecca was confined to their 725-square foot mobile home. Thanks to community fundraising efforts, Rebecca will now be able to go outside and enjoy the time she has left. Our hearts are full for Rebecca and our thoughts and prayers are with this very special family.

RAMPS UP!
Builders Care is continuing to receive an overwhelming number of requests for people in need of wheelchair ramps. With some of these needs being time sensitive, Builders Care has begun exploring the concept of portable wheelchair ramps to further fulfil its mission of serving elderly and disabled homeowners. If you or someone you know would like to donate a portable ramp to Builders Care, please contact us at (239) 938-0056 or email builderscare@bia.net. These small acts of generosity can go a long way in changing lives for the better.
