On Thursday afternoon, Lee BIA Builders Care received an early Christmas present from Santa’s elves. The Aubuchon Team of Companies, led by Gary Aubuchon and Jeff Miloff, presented the group with a donation of $12,000.00 to help with emergency construction repairs for local homeowners in need. Amongst hugs and company VIPs, the Aubuchon Team of Companies presented the check to Christi Pritchett Sarlo, Executive Director of Builders Care.
“We continue to be impressed with the services provided by Builders Care and their partners in the building industry, said Gary Aubuchon. “And we are excited to be a part of the team to help more families in our area.”
Each year, The Aubuchon Team of Companies hosts a fundraiser for local charities through its Helping Hands for the Holidays event. The 2016 holiday event raised over $36,000 for local charities. Charities include Make-a-Wish Southern Florida, Ronald McDonald House Charities SWFL and Builders Care. To date, The Aubuchon Team of Companies has donated nearly $91,000 over the past ten years to help the Lee Building Industry Association (BIA) Builders Care program provide free home repair services to disadvantaged Lee County residents.

Builders Care is the nonprofit charitable arm of the Lee Building Industry Association (BIA). Its mission is to provide emergency home repairs and construction services to elderly, disabled and economically disadvantaged people who are unable to obtain home repairs through traditional means. To date, Lee BIA Builders Care has put more than $4.0 Million in construction services back into the community at no cost to homeowners in need.
