Last week was full of blessings as we completed a project in Lehigh Acres for a deserving family. We had help from all over including the Gateway Gives Foundation, who purchased the shade structure for the deck and Land Solutions, who brought their entire team for the day to help build the deck, install landscaping and more.
“This is what it’s all about,” said Randy Thibaut, president of Land Solutions, Inc. and co-founding board member of Lee BIA Builders Care. “Getting out and helping other good people in our community who need it. We love doing it.”
The family was also blessed with a tub-to-shower conversion in the bathroom that included several contractors: Harbor Springs Building Company, Nilles Design, West Coast Structural Concrete & Masonry, Wayne Wiles Floor Coverings, MW Dumpsters & Sitework, T&M Portable Restrooms.
“You just don’t know what this means to us,” said Sonya Mikolajaski, caretaker of her husband, Gary, who now suffers with debilitating nerve damage and four girls under the age of 8. “To know that he will be safe and help him not to fall in bathroom is a huge blessing to us.”
