$15K Grant From Gulf Harbour Memorial Foundation Provides Relief to Local Homeowners Who Are in Need of New Roof

Lee Builders Care

Builders Care has recently received a generous $15,000 grant from Gulf Harbour Memorial Foundation to provide funds for the Builders Care Roofs Up! Program. This will allow some local homeowners to breathe a sigh of relief when they get a new roof. One of the requirements to qualify for Builders Care services is that the family must have an elderly or disabled individual living within the home. Of the 111 Builders Care home repair applications currently on hand, 36 of those applications, or 32%, are considered to need major roof repairs.

The average cost to repair a 1,000 square foot roof is about $5,200. In order to help as many homeowners as possible, we hope to stretch the money from this grant even further by solidifying material and labor donations from local companies to help. Builders Care hopes to complete as many as 5 roofs in the near future, but we need your help to do so. Crowther Residential Roofing has joined in the effort. Won’t you?

Donate today at https://www.leebuilderscare.com/make_donation.php and help a local family keep the roof over their heads.

Roofs Up! is sponsored by Lee BIA Builders Care and provides no cost emergency construction services to elderly and disabled homeowners in need in Lee County. Stay tuned as we surprise our first family in Lee County with the gift of a new roof in the very near future.
