Lee BIA Builders Care, the nonprofit charitable arm of the Lee Building Industry Association (BIA), has received a $17,500 donation from Aubuchon Team of Companies. The impactful donation is a result of funds raised through Aubuchon Team of Companies’ annual fundraising event, “Helping Hands for the Holidays.”
“Every person that attended our 24th Helping Hands event was amazing,” said Gary Aubuchon, president, Aubuchon Team of Companies. “As our community was still in hurricane recovery mode, attendance was much less than in prior years, but those that showed up dug deep and rose to the occasion by surpassing last years’ contributions. Our team is very thankful for the generosity of our friends in the community in supporting the important work of these wonderful charitable organizations!”
Funds will support Builders Care in its mission to provide emergency construction services at no cost to needy and deserving elderly and/or disabled homeowners, and their families, who cannot obtain repairs through traditional means.
“Aubuchon Team of Companies has generously supported Lee BIA Builders Care for the past 15 years through its annual Helping Hands for the Holidays event,” said Crystal Stouten, executive director of Lee BIA Builders Care. “The generosity of their team and the community has helped us provide critical funding and support as we work to serve homeowners in need. We are thankful for Aubuchon’s continued partnership and to all who helped make this year’s ‘Helping Hands for the Holidays’ fundraiser a success.”
To date, Aubuchon Team of Companies has donated more than $175,600 to Lee BIA Builders Care through its annual fundraiser, fueling Lee BIA Builder Care’s efforts to support local homeowners and their families.
