5th Annual Clay Shoot 2021

Lee BIA Builders Care recently hosted its fifth annual Charity Clay Shoot at the Bermont Shooting Club in Punta Gorda, helping raise more than $60,000 to support local homeowners in need.

The sold-out tournament held on Dec. 3 brought 53 teams out to contend in a multi-station interactive course with specialty station competitions. Following the tournament, teams enjoyed lunch, live music, prize drawings, and an awards ceremony to name the top individuals and teams.

The event is a signature fundraiser for Lee BIA Builders Care with 100% of proceeds directly supporting efforts to provide emergency construction services at no cost to needy and deserving elderly and/or disabled homeowners, and their families, who cannot obtain repairs through traditional means.

“The critical need for housing repairs within our community continues to grow each year, and with support from our generous participants and sponsors, we’ll be able to help even more deserving families live safely and comfortably in their homes,” said Crystal Stouten, executive director of Lee BIA Builders Care. “This event is made possible through the support of our board, volunteers, sponsors and donors, and we’re thankful for all who came out and donated in support of local homeowners in need.”
