Currier Roofing and Builders Care Provide Emergency Roof “LOVE”

Lee Builders Care

In response to a roof emergency, local roofing contractor, Currier Roofing Company stepped in to help Lee BIA Builders Care to provide much needed love and repairs for a wonderful family in need, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

With no means to repair their roof, Clifford and Nancy Cooley have endured years of drywall issues due to a leak in the 35-year-old tile roof. On Feb. 11, their wish came true when Builders Care Partners and team members arrived with a construction crew to begin the repairs on their roof.  Currier Roofing representatives, including company owners Ara Nell Currier and her daughter, Deborah Currier Liftig, arrived to the home with a large box of chocolates, a giant card and teddy bear to help the Cooley family celebrate Valentine’s Day as well as their recent 65th wedding anniversary earlier this week.

“We are pleased to help this wonderful family. My father, Edward Currier, Jr. would be very proud that we are helping a fellow war veteran in need,” said Deborah Currier Liftig.

“Roof repairs and replacements are one of the most common requests that come into our office. Rain totals over the past year have increased and so we have seen an increase in roof requests,” said Christi Pritchett Sarlo, executive director of Builders Care. “Builders Care and partners have relieved major stress off of a family that will be appreciated for many years to come.”
