BIA & Builders Care Boards join community leaders in make a difference day

Lee Builders Care

Builders Care (www.leebuilderscare.com) and the Lee Building Industry Association (www.BIA.net) board of directors and Fort Myers and Lee County officials helped local homeowner Kay Hoagland, a retired Fort Myers Publix bakery worker and former Army wife. The team completed much-needed home improvement projects, including pressure washing, painting and landscaping. Earlier this year, 80-year-old Hoagland was the recipient of a new roof provided by Roof Smart of Southwest Florida in partnership with Builders Care and the Harper Foundation. Roof restoration included replacement of rotting wood and drywall repairs inside the home from ongoing water leaks. Builders Care is the nonprofit charitable arm of the BIA.

Fort Myers Mayor Randy Henderson, Lee County Commissioner Brian Hamman and Fort Myers Public Works Engineer, Saeed Kazemi, help make a difference for local homeowner, Kay, 80 years-old.  Board members joined community leaders to paint a house for a local woman in need in just a few hours.
